What should our bills be in new house

We moved into out new house last August. Its insulated to high spec with geo thermal heating and MHRV.
I have a good ESB monitor to follow our daily power usgage and cost. At the moment its coming in at about €4.60 per day. Is this right? house is 2350sq/ft. Its built as airtight house but we still have to do airtight test. This is due to a load of problems with our windows and doors and getting them company to finish them. We have draughts to be sorted. Our bills last winter were just under 400€ per bill, or about €5.50/day but I though this would dramatically come down in summer months.
    Any informed thoughts?

Seems very high to me. I'm not sure of the costs with running GT or MHRV but my electricity bills for the last year & half were -

    21 Jul 2013 Bill €133.89
    21 May 2013 Bill €164.41
    21 Mar 2013 Bill €200.18
    21 Jan 2013 Bill €222.74
    21 Nov 2012 Bill €177.75
    21 Sep 2012 Bill €143.97
    23 Jul 2012 Bill €142.00
    21 May 2012 Bill €167.85
    21 Mar 2012 Bill €230.76

My house is 2500 sq/ft, 2 adults + 3yr old with all the usual appliances.

If I include gas for hot water, heating and cooking it would add €1200 per year.

Who could I ask to take a look at our house. What profession is the right profession to properly look as such issues?

I'd start by posting your actual kwh usage. Costs very hugely between suppliers, the actual quantity of electricity used won't. It's a much more relevant comparison.

I bought an owl when we moved into my house. I too was concerned about my bills. In our case it turned out to be nothing specific, although our hob and oven devour electricity.

I will post usage tomorrow then. Whats an Owl?

An owl is a commonly available energy monitor
