New Google maps - problem sending location

Hi

I just updated to the latest version of Google maps. I no longer seem to be able to share my location. Does anyone know how to send my location in the new Google maps?

They removed it afaik. You have to use Locations form Google+ I think, not 100% though.

The new google maps is not great at all, even the search is borked, they seem to have just turned it into sponsored link spam, searched for Viking Marine boats, Kilcoole while in Greystones and was given a list of hotels starting with the marine hotel in DL and then listing various facilities out as far as Offaly.
Did another search for Balinaclash while in Rathdrum and was given a 56min round trip that looked like a section of the wicklow 200 cycling race rather than directions to a place 10 mins down the road.

If you haven't upgraded, don't if possible.

Pity really as google maps just worked before, now you really have to question the veracity of the directions given.

Go to map, hold finger on the screen, pin will dropp. Click on address below and then hit share sign.

That'll do it!

also you can open something like whatsapp and attach a location allowing you to send it

Have anyone worked out how to do it from the desktop version? No pegman in it either

Anybody having issues getting a GPS satellite signal since the update?

It used to lock on in a couple of seconds but over the last two days I've had serious problems. Today I couldn't get a signal at all, I even stopped the car and got out to see if that would help get a lock on, but no luck.

I did with my gs2. Only way it would connect is if i restarted it

This is the issue I have with my note2...wouldnt work for months. As mentioned above, the only way to fix is restart. It is strange as tomtom works with no problem at all...I had two different roms with the same issues. Maybe next update will fix it.
