Quick question, probably with a longer answer!

(not looking for medical advise as such, just want to clear up a conversation I had recently)

If one has had chemotherapy more than 5 years ago, they would generally be eligible to give blood at this stage. Is this affected by that person being on HRT, specifically testosterone replacement?

I don't think that it would be appropriate given the possibly higher levels of testosterone compounds in the bloodstream, but my conversation partner disagreed.

    Thoughts?

There is some info here http://www.giveblood.ie/Become_a_Donor/Give_Blood/FAQs/ though it doesn't answer your specific question. However you could contact the IBTS on 1850 731 137 and confirm.
