Ryanair's plane was investigating the possibility of parachuting passengers out - saves landing fees.

ah come on auld lad.. Dublin Airport was operational yesterday and would have taken preference over a side show... Air Control is stressful without having to add a air show on top

I wouldnt fancy standing around the quays waiting 20 mins for the next plane

I'd be getting twitchy wanting my next heroin fix.

It would be lovely to have nothing else to worry about other than the gaps between the flights at the FREE flight fest. Get these moaning gits off the air.

These old farts would have liked 1940 in London, where the German planes coming up the Thames were very close to each other - I'm sure the people of London were not 'bored' when that was going on.

LL back to the usual standard 'De chisellers was bored Joe, its a disgrace Joe'

Just standing around looking at the sky.

Well there's her mistake right there, she should have been looking in the Liffey for the airplanes at a fly-by.

Standing around looking at the sky.....sounds like a typical thing along the Quays.

Gathering website that was to show it live broke down and didn't work - as did the flightfest website itself !!

Ordinary member of public bored by watching endless stream of planes passing overhead - shock, horror. She expected aerial displays? A380 doing a loop the loop or Ryanair shooting down an Aer Lingus plane.

FFS, firstly, it wasn't an air show. Secondly, it was windy and they're lucky it wasn't as bad as it was that morning. Thirdly, the flights were over a city, not a big empty field around an isolated airfield. I could go on.

Joe, cut all 3 of them off while you're at it.
