They could get Phil Babb to manage the team. He'd be great.

Just waiting for the really earthy Dublin accent to come that will overuse words like 'Gentleman' and 'Forthwith'

Roy would just end up insulting the players when HE fails to show any managerial talent.

    "Total skills? A Leader?" BS

Did someone mention Roy Keane and "person skills" in the same sentence?

This caller is a feckin eejit - it's FOOTBALL NOT SOCCER, they call it SOCCER in The USA

I call it soccer, purely to annoy people who get upset over it.

    Roy was sent home.

see extract from Mick McCarthy from Mail on-line:

McCarthy said: "I cannot and will not tolerate being spoken to with that level of abuse being thrown at me, so I sent him home."

Mea culpa, he resigned mid season. The following season they went down.

He's still a terrible manager though.
2006 was the last time Sunderland were relegated.

Some months ago, even Éamon Dunphy said he wouldn't mind MMC, and MMC has a clause in his Ipswich contract which says he can leave to manage Ireland.

    Ya never know!
