I met The Edge and he was trying to find the venue he was playing in... He said he'd roamed through the fields, kissed honeyed lips, scaled the city walls (the city waaa aaaallls) and still hadnt found what he was looking for ....

Well, that's life in the movie business - bit o' filluming, back to the star's trailer, sink a bevvy or two, night on the town, bit more filluming and so on. The days just fly by. I don't know how he's got the strength to do it.

I take the Edge's hat off to our Joe - a pure martyr, he is.

    Ha ha, great start.

She got a fine because she didn't display her badge, appealed, and was successful, what's her problem ?

Waters is an awful eejit, he got his grace period and still wasn't happy. Could we all chip in and pay the state to keep him in prison a bit longer ?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,184 ✭✭✭✭Lapin

Now we know the real reason Waters opted to go to jail.

I'd have done the same to get away from this one.

Was Waters 1 min over the 15 min grace period or just 1 min over ticket expirary?

    "...because he comes from Achill."

    Wonderful!

Not all spaces on Parnell Square missus, some are head on, some are parallel.

That's a hilarious excuse, he comes from Achill and that's how they do it there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,496 ✭✭✭Boombastic

Because they come from Achill and don't do that type of thing down there?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,966 ✭✭✭✭syklops

    Why didnt he appeal it?
    Because he is from Achill.

He says it as it is, you wouldn't get this from Joe. It would be all sighs and isn't that terrible and all that.
