Dace in the Suir?

    I'm no expert (not even an angler) but I was wondering where all the Dace in our local stretch of river (Carrick on Suir) came from. On a walk by the river, there are some patches where you can see "gazillions" of them. As I said, I'm no expert, but I'm fairly sure that 5-10 years ago there were none. Local fishers are trout and salmon men and view them as nothing but a pest...
