    Hi folks,

As it say above my boot won't open, I turn the key in the door and all the doors open but the boot won't. Just before it stopped work there was an unusual sound like it locked down. Now the key or the switch on the boot won't open.

I got into the boot and there is no cable type mechanism. So I can't putt on it with a long nose pliers. It is all electronic. There is no contacts between the boot and the body on the newer version.

    My problem is now

    1. How do you open it.

    2. What fuese would it be. Considering the doors are working by key. I don't have a remote for the door.

    Any help sincerely appreciated.

Just thought I would update you all

Brought it to mechanic this morning

3 hours later and 170 poorer turns out

Wiring loom broke in 3 places.

Apparently just one of those things and a bitch because all the wires are the same colour.

    Thanks for reading

Not unusual for them to break like that. I just knock down the back left seat, keep pinching the loom and get someone to open from the outside. It eventually pops open. Sounds like an ok price if they are replacing the loom.
Fairplay to you for updating the post on the problem/fix. Hopefully it may help someone else in the future.

No. Did not replace the loom just solder repaired it. But it's the exact reason I updated it because I have not a clue how he done it with the boot stuck closed.

And I just wanted to share the info.
