Problem with Kindle App on Android Tablet

    Hi Folks,

    I have a cheap "e-star" android tablet that is slow but works fine for what I want. I downloaded the kindle app on it recently and purchased my first book on this app. It toke a while for the book to show up but when it did I cannot see the text on the pages. I know its there because I can highlight it but no matter what colour scheme I pick the text is always the same colour as the background. Is there some setting that I cannot find where I can change this?:(

    Did you ever get this issue sorted at all? :confused:
    My wife has just got an e-Star and has the exact same issue with it.

    No im afraid not. The only solution was to download it to my phone and use that.
