I'd spend more than 7 euro. Can't imagine a 7 euro one would last long. It be sliping fairly soon

Been in enough rented places over the years - never thought of this!
Better never go on holiday again either. Thousands of bums will have been on that hotel room jacks.
Luckily I'm a guy, but if I need a poo at work I'll just hold it in and try to leave early.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

It's a matter of personal preference if you should get a new seat or not.
Just clean the current seat thoroughly and save 7 euro.

If your willing to buy a seat for 7 euro it would serve you better to get a bottle of bleach add it to water and clean the seat for 0.59c. Pay at least 20 euro for a standard seat and more for a back to wall

Aldi and Lidl regulary sell "soft close" toilet seats (grey and white) for 14 euro.

    Good bit of kit too.

Might be of some use to the OP and his ar5e.

Soft close would be good, guaranteed to stay up would be better :)
