    Ah feck no.....just looked out my window and saw a mini swarm of these little bastards hovering all over the place....have had to close the windows.

    Just hope its not a bad invasion like a few years ago.

    They are out there. Hardy little buggers they are too. The ones just outside our patio door can swim in hot water.

    LOL I was just about to start a thread on it, i opened the door about 20 mins ago and all of the tarmac is carpeted outside the house, they're on the walls, all over the place , freaky and getting freaky lol

    Basically its their 'sexy time' , they'll mate, shed their wings and find a place to start a new colony.

    If any get into your house kill them as they can live for up to 15 years and if they take up residence somewhere in the house and start a colony you are in for a whole lot of fun lol

    The flying ants, and the flying ants thread, are both annual events. Once I spotted the little so and sos outside, I knew that I'd find a thread in here. I'd been expecting this for a while now, as it is usually on a warm and humid evening in July or August that this happens. It often happens more than once in the year. So if they and we survive tonight, we may meet again. :)
