Wanted to make up a easier way to move creep feeder around .
Made this up but having problems

It is catching the top pin fine but it sways left or right when I lift it up as it pivots only on top pin

Thinking along the lines of channel iron in v shape and weld on to creep keeping the original three points in case afterwards
    Pic s included ideas welcome

60mm box iron for the tractor side. 75mm channel for the implement (feeder) side.
I bought an A-Frame and it has the 60mm box. I'm making up the implement sides at the moment and it fits nice and snug. maybe a little too snug, but we'll see.
Check both fit before you buy them. I'll take a pic tonight.

weld in two pieces of pipe (easier then box section for locating) onto the the white frame that will fit into where the arms would go on the hopper. When it lifts the the brackets will be either side of the pipe and the weight on the pipe will stop it from swinging.

Too hot to be welding !!

Step 1: Stick the whole lot up on Donedeal while they are still in fashion and worth something!

Step 2: Head to pub and have a few cool pints of bulmers.

Step 3: Marvel at how good the 'quick attach' holds the pint glass in your hand. Tilt head and lift to mouth. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!

Step 4: Do not ruminate too much on all the money you have spent filling the f**kin thing - for it will drive you mad!

Step 5: Repeat step 3 numerous times until you don't have to think about step 4

Creep feeders are the work of the devil, when it comes to moving around.

Not bought one bag of creep so far this year.
    Calves are flying.
The weather we are having is a huge performance boost for calves and all classes of stock I guess.

That stuff is for loosening seized bolts. Nothing more than the dregs left after the brewing of proper stuff.

From what I can see once lifted the bottom of the feeder will be resting against the bottom of your frame??

I'd be thinking of a few carefully positioned lugs welded onto each in such a way that they would come together interlocked and stop lateral movment.. I'd be thinking 75mm angle or similar...

I see the Angus sign painted on the bottom.... good way of keeping the Limo's out, at least they know who the creep is intended for :p

thanks muckit still left with problem today ...........might need more refreshment tonight..

Understand about the lugs except the white long section goes below the bottom of the creep frame.

maybe two more bottom hooks might do...

no mad limos here its for them f...king crows.

I wouldn't put More hooks on it. It then becomes too much of the krypton factor to hook up.
Try and stick with one hook and two locators to prevent swing.

No these I picked up from a wind turbine vessel at work they are used to lash down cargo welded like a d with iron cleat to pull straps off . Kinda recycle .... Good few turbines in these days some heading up your way bootilagh I think.

Hope so as muckit idea was giving me a pain in my head.....

Hoping my welding will hold hence the reinforcing bar . Melted enough on it anyway .
Hopefully get to try out tomorrow night as waiting to get seal done in tractor.
