Hope I'm in the right place.

I've bought a steel shed which requires a concrete base. The shed size is 6m x 5m. I've for quoted 1200 for the base. Does thus sound expensive?

Its a flat area Im putting the shed on so there should be no major issues.

    Hi Largepants
Sounds ok. My buddy put a steel shed 9m x 3m. Cost him €1000. Const was Dpm - Mesh and 115mm depth of concrete.

tbh sound expensive.should take 3-4 meters of concrete. cubic meter of concrete is rougly 70 euro.
    digger hire 100 euro.diger driver hire 50/h.
    dumper/tractor hire 50e
    so 200-300 for concrte,and 800 for labour???
well,if you want floor powerfloated thats another 300-400....
do it yourself if ground does not requier any digging.all you need is few boards, few pegs to hold them in place.and concrete rake.maybe wellbarow too,if truck cant get it in place.it shouldnt take more than 3 hours

Appreciate the replies. I'm a bit clueless when it comes to these things but now €1200 doesn't sound too bad.

    Cheers.

Which cloud did you pick that from?

Its 25m2 actually with conditions regarding height and external finishes and remaining open space etc if looking to build an exempted shed
