Grant application signatures

Hi, I just got the letter where I am asked to send all the documents required within 2 weeks and I noticed that as well as my signature, my parents one is also needed since I had to apply as a dependent student. Now, I live in Ireland since 2010 and my parents are living in Italy, it will impossible to me to get a document signed in such a short time.
I was wondering if I can send them a scanned document so they can sign that, or if there is another way to get those signatures at all.
Has anyone ever been in the same situation? :(

    Thanks!

Heres a suggestion; send in your documents with a note saying that because your parents live in Italy the further documentation from them may take a little longer

Before you do this email SUSI helpdesk and ask if this is ok to do

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
