I've decided to start searching for work in Northern Ireland and the UK. I've been using nijobs.com but I'm wondering if there are any other websites people have used and have successfully found work on? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Nijobfinder.co.uk is the one where the jobs advertised in the Belfast Telegraph appear. It's Tuesdays for public sector jobs and Thursdays for everything else (the newspaper that is, and the site is updated with jobs from those sectors on the same day). Reed in the UK are very good for office type stuff.

    Reed, Hays, Blue Arrow, Kellys...

Look on yell.com (Yellow Pages) for recruitment agencies.

Are recruitment agencies the same in NI/UK as they are here? Predominantly useless.

    Yup! :D

They are, however a lot more professional in their approach than agencies here IMO.
