I have been looking at some of the companies that provide sliding doors. Most seem to have a two colour tone for e.g. Walnut & white/clear colour etc or one complete colour.

I am looking for a door that is more traditional looking with nice panel on it and maybe a different colour which I have not seen available either. I would like to go with the dark slate blue colour that you see many kitchen available in at present.

I think the sliding doors would work well for a laundry room in creating more space.

Is it possible to buy suitable large timber doors and mount them on to the sliding tracks.

Would appreciate any advice on it, Thanks

Yes you can, any ironmonger (kcc, proline etc) will be able to give you the right sliding gear depending on the weight of the door. You can mount then on a wall (does not look great) or build a partition to form the sliding pocket

Yes it is possible to do that. Check out PC Henderson as they should have the hardware you are looking for.
