Masters Degree

Hi,

Quick question in relation to doing a masters degree in NUIG.

Considering doing the Masters in Accounting and was wondering can anyone give me insight into the course? Level of difficulty? Good/Bad? Hours? etc.....

Also how expensive would decent accommodation be in Galway close(ish) to the University?
Would between €65-80 get you a nice enough room / apartment sharing in the city? Or is student accommodation the way to go?

I can't comment on the quality/difficulty of a masters, but as far as accommodation goes, you should be able to find something within budget within a 10 - 15 minute walk to NUIG.

There's a lot student accommodation near the Westside shopping centre. Although it's a few years since I was there, I think I paid something along the lines of 50-70 for a room with a double bed in this area.

Probably be a good idea to start looking early. I left it late, and ended up spending about 3 days ringing up about rooms that were taken, and looking at houses that were much further out.
