    Hi ,

I'm currently working part time in a job I love but my days have been cut. I'm now working 2 days from 9 to 3 and there is a possibility of going down to one day. I currently get paid Jobseekers Allowance for my husband and 2 children for the days I don't work. I've seen a job advertised locally for 20 hours and I'd really like to apply for it but it's 5 days a week.

If I work 5 days a week will I lose my full JB Allowance even though its only 20 hours a week ?

Yes the JB would stop even though it is only 4 hours a day. It is based on number of days worked not hours worked. As you would be doing 20 hours you could apply for FIS.
