    Hi all

I am looking to rent a house and I will be basing my business there. I already have a mortgage on another property where the business is currently run from. I have not charged rent to the company for this house. So what I want to know is if I can write off some of the rental costs of the house I'm about to rent through the business?

    Thanks
    FtC

Yes - subject to a bunch of conditions. Is a complicated area, ask your accountant.

Definitely one you need to ask accountant about, there can be all sorts of implications resulting from those kind of claims.
