Good Quality Ankle Socks

Anyone know where I can get some good quality ankle socks? I want to get some plain white ones and plain black ones.

I got six pairs for €2 the other day in penny's, but after wearing one pair for a day it was full of pilled threads and looked like I had them for years

The bamboo ones in Dunnes are nice quality, have several black pairs, not sure if they have them at the moment tho
Have picked up Calvin Klein ones in TK Maxx in the past, better quality than Penneys for sure.

Ladies or gents? Regardless, if you're willing to buy online (don't know of any Irish stockists) Gold Toe are the most comfortable and durable socks I've ever owned. Available on Amazon and on Ebay and even worth paying to have them shipped from Macys!

The Nike outlet in Blanchardtown has packs of black or white ankle socks. Mine have worn very well so far!
