If you can push a bit more, get a refurbished Nexus 10.

Was thinking about a refurbed note or nexus but the memo seems to be on par battery wise for less money and good enough for what I want,
Food for thought thanks for the replies

I know you are against Chinese tablets, but as battery life seems to be important, I'll just quietly mention the Novo 10 Eternal, which I think has the best battery life of any 10 inch tablet on the market.

It's fine, I get about two days out of it with heavy use.

I just got my hands on this;http://www.ebuyer.com/489484-sumvision-cyclone-voyager-2-tablet-pc-cycvoy2101.
I have to say its very good but will keep testing.Have xbmc put on it and streaming the open to it at the mo.
Very responsive.quick and i like the fact you can put a 32gb sd card in it for expansion.
All in cost me €230 including parcel motel.ordered monday got it this morning.

Edit to say this is an exact copy of the pipo m9!!!
