Mullingar has a greater population of about 30, 000 and has 3 "gyms" two are extremely overpriced and extremely under equipped hotels (600 euro) and the other is a total dump with grotty showers and the oldest worn out and thrown together equipment I would not expect even in a home gym and still manages to cherge 300 euro for a membership. With countless GAAclubs in the town and surrounding areas and a huge rugby club and the fitness industry booming Mullingar is crying out for a decently equipped and priced gym .
