Myself and my partner are looking to go on a sun holiday next June (2014) we are looking for an all inclusive package. Somewhere like Portugal or Spain. Have been to all the canaries islands before so not looking to go to any of them again as would like to see somewhere new :)

We are looking for somewhere quite but must be very short distance from a few bars and restaurants ( short stroll) and ideally would like to be beside the beach also as I am a big sunbather :)

My partner would like somewhere that has maybe some water sports and other things to see/do as he wouldn't sit at pool all day everyday.

Also would love a hotel/appartment with plenty of entertainment in the night like shows etc...

Can anyone recommend anywhere that would suit?

    Thanks in advance x

    Hi,
My boyfriend and I went to Kusadasi in Turkey last year and I loved it. We stayed in the Palmin Sunset Plaza which is owned by an Irish person and it has all Irish staying there also. I loved it! It is near the beach, which has lots of activites and water sports available. A bus also runs from outside the hotel to the town every few minutes and its very cheap(about €1). There is something on in the hotel nearly every night and you are not far from some lovely restaurants or bars either. :)
A lot of the people staying there had been there on many previous occasions so this must be good!!
Do you mind me asking where you went in Gran Canaria? We are thinking of going to Puerto Rico. What's it like there?

    Thanks!:D

Why all inclusive?, isn't it nicer to try different restaurants than dining in the hotel canteen every night where they know they have your money already and don't need to try hard?

I agree with Patrick2010 - not so much because AI aren't likely to try too hard, moreso because, as you said yourself, you want to be near bars and restaurants, so why would you want to pay twice?
