Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this :).

Picked up my new car during the week and it has a cream interior mostly as in cream leather seats and cream carpets, part of the dash are cream along with parts of the dash being black. What products would people recommend?

    Pic for reference.

Also I remember reading here a while back of a product for keeping your exterior blacks real black and being a long last lasting product but I can't remember the name of it?

Need it for this part of the bumper, the lip over the exhaust.

    Thanks in advance.

First off - great purchase...great to see cars with a nice lump still being snapped up!! I'd say its a cracking drive - best of luck with it!

A mild mix of APC (all purpose cleaner), sprayed on and wiped off with a microfiber cloth, will keep on top of the interior plastics...could also use on leather, or pick up specific cleaner and conditioner. If the plastics get soiled more heavily, make the mix a bit stronger, agitate with a detailing / nail / tooth brush, and it should remove it.

Would the product you heard about be gtechniq C4 - durability of 1+ year, but its quite expensive, but certainly worth it!

Yeh that's the one I seen it posted here a while ago but for the life of me couldn't remember the name of it.

    Dont scrub leather just rub

Get white microfiber towels if possible
Spray your cleaner on the cloth and rub on do one half of one section of the seat (top or bottom) look at the cloth after cleaning, if it is dirty repeat until the cloth picks up no dirt then move on the the next section

Next what i use is ValuGard Leather/Vinyl Protector

Dont ask why i dont know myself but i was told at the autoglym training, never ever spray straight to leather

I've used Gliptone cleaner and then conditioner in the past on my car. I tried the Autoglym versions but didnt like the feel of the leather after them. Gliptone leaves a really nice smell in the car afterwards too.

I use Meguairs interior detailer for my dash, nice matt finish and good at removing oild finger prints which the dash switches on my car seem to attract.

Lovely E90 btw, something very cool about a saloon with a 6 cylinder. I'd opt for one over the E92 if I could afford to run one.

Sorry for the delay, got the gtechniq C4 sure is dear for the size of the bottle you get but used it yesterday and hopefully its worth it, also got the gliptone leather cleaner so see how that goes spent the day yesterday scrubbing her nothing better when your finished and it looks immaculate only problem is don't want to drive it incase it gets dirty :pac:.

Also anyone an recommendations for an alloy cleaner? Have been using wonder wheels.

If your wheels are in good nick and you wash the car regularly, then any of the wheel cleaners from the well known brands will do the job!
If you tend to leave your car washing to periods longer than 2-3 weeks, you might need a fall out remover!

Wonder Wheels might be all right, but most of the decent ones are dilutable to suit your needs, depending on how regularly you wash!

Ones that I quite like are...
    Orchard Autocare Wheel Cleanse
    Chemical Guys Diablo Gel

Heard good things about Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel; want to try it out!

Cheers I'll have a look at them, how frequently do I clean my car well during the summer it's generally kept spotless during the winter the motivation dies down a bit and becomes less frequent.
