There seems to be a low flying airplane zooming to and fro over Dublin 8. Are we being invaded? Damn those pesky North Koreans.

****! I knew Kim Jong would not be able to resist the alure of Irish airspace one day. I hear the president granted exemption from Air Koryo's banning from the EU to allow them to perform, in their own words, "supremacy overflights of your puny capitalist megacity" before darting back to Moscow for an engine change.

Was it this beauty you saw?

It was a PC9 out of Baldonnel and he was only about 1500ft. There were 3 passes over Dublin 8 about 5 minutes apart, same track, so it was either the same aircraft doing circuits around the city and back to Bal, or spacing for 3 PC9's returning to the field.

The PC9 was fairly moving, so I can see how it could be perceived as the Koreans :P

Ah, I knew it was the Koreans. It was either them or the Russians.

You're all wrong the Isle of Mann is making a land grab and saw us as an easy target.
