Hi lads, i have a 1982 honda 50. im having trouble getting it to idle after i drive it, if i come to a stop and then give it throttle it will flood itself. Is there an set amount of turns for the idle screw and the flow screw that i could start with.

Usually start at 2.5 turns out from the fully seated position for the slow jet.
Idle will be adjusted after the slow jet (Pilot) is adjusted.

Took off carb and cleaned the whole yoke down, checked throttle cable and all ok but when i drive up the road and come to a stop she cuts out. Wont start then for few mins. Ive tuned it evey way possible. I think now its a new carb required, does anyone know how easy it would be to get one and where. Would they be expensive?

You sure its carb and not electrical?
When it cuts out see if it has spark, the electrics can get a bit shook on them after a while.

It'd be no harm to stick in some new points/condenser and maybe a coil.
Not expensive from the likes of Wemoto.
