With this pga tour weather the ball is going miles :) I noticed today I was hitting one less club, and all the par 5's in Millicent were doable made 3 birdies on them today

Its pretty hilarious alright, at the weekend i used a 8i on the 180m par 3 (landed short, bounced up nearly as high again, and ran up the green). After hitting the ball i commented how strange it was to hit that club, knowing that it can be a 3w in colder weather.

I Put the driver away yesterday evening, with the roll plus the heat, stress factor down, anger down, pulled shots from the rough down.

Took a half-day from work and heading down to Donabate in an hour. There's a 180m par 3 there but I reckon it'll be a struggle to hit an 8i that far for me even in this weather.

I hit a PW 125yards the other day, would struggle to clear 105 normally. Hit 7 iron 165:eek: unheard of.
Even to just pick the ball out of the cup the ball is slightly warm. Gotta be at least a 15' fluctuation in comparison to earlier on this year.

Its great to see the conditions that the pro's chase around the globe annually(for the most part)

Adds a different dynamic to the game aswell, have to pitch the ball shorter than normal so your clubbing less!

Reached a 520yard Par 5 in two shots yesterday drive and a 3 wood normally it would be a 3 shot for me easily, there is water around where I would normally land the driver yet yesterday I cleared it comfortably, hit another par 5 with a 5 iron on my second shot from about 190, 2 eagle putts in one round. (didnt make either but still I had a chance)

Yep, hit an 5i at that 180m Par 3 and landed just short. Didn't catch it all that well either. Anything inside 115m metres is PW territory at this stage. Madness. Pity I was so wayward off the tee.
