what is the quality like? might pick one up for our daghter - she is starting 1st class in september - just wondering if it will take much abuse? most of the character bags we've bought her so far dont seem to last the year!

Picked one up to great price but possibly bit small to use as a school bag

watch the sizes if buying for school

If it will not fit an A4 size then probably not worth buying as a school bag, as all the workbooks are A4 size even for Junior Infants

Went through this last year buying school bags

It's first class, not first year, what abuse do you need it to take !!:)

Just normal daily use has been enough on the past that by Christmas zips are tore etc. While great value I think this bag is probably on the small side to use as a school bag but my daughter was delighted with it!

I find character bags are risky to buy as kids go off their choices and then other kids tease what character they have ( kids being kids ) so I stick to a plain bag and makes life easier.
At the end of the day, most school bags do not last more than a year or two anyway.
