Tour de France - Stage 10, Tue Jul 9, St-Gildas - Saint Malo, **Unmasked Spoilers**

    Stage 10, St-Gildas-des-Bois - Saint Malo, 197 km

This stage should be relatively straightforward. The only difficulty might be crosswinds when the peloton reach the coastline with 25km to go. Everyone will be well rested, so there's very little chance for a breakaway to succeed. With no real climbs or anything to whittle down the peloton along the way, it's going to be a massive bunch sprint with all the sprinters involved.

The winds have nothing on Cav after he loses a sprint.

Doubt it ever makes sense to expect someone other than Cav to win a bunch sprint. Few euros on Sagan in hope.

Guys don't write off Greipel or Kittel for this one their trains are good and this sort of sprint suits them as much as cavendish. I wouldn't have him at odds on anyway. Thinking about it this morning Boassen Hagen does have chance i expect sky get a free ride for much of today so he should been to get involved today.

The poor break is doomed really with a headwind as such for most of day.

    More on stage 10 betting.

Nah i'll think he'll save his energy for more bumpier stages.

Even the lads in the breakaway today will know it's doomed.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek there ....but you never know about today

Wouldn't be great if someone came out and attacked ....and by someone I mean some team

Thomas Voeckler for stage win aided by wind :D

I hope it's a flat out sprint between Cav, Greipel, Kittel and Sagan...and Greipel wins. Or maybe Goss will finally do something.

Small E/W bet done on Kristoff @ 40/1

Any reason Degenkolb is such high odds? He's 150 on Betfair's exchange at the moment. I haven't seen any of the sprints this year - is he Kittel's leadout man?

Yeah, kittel will be the main man for Argos now. Degenkolb got a pretty serious tonking when he tried to sprint against sagan, never mind cav and greipel as well.

Wow. The trash sections are clearly working. Big well done to the organisers there

Just tuned in - Stephen Roche is commentating?

He is just doing a guest appearance ...however it seems hard for Carlton to stop him talking....he is defo the opposite to Sean

Flip's sake, those motorbikes are proper clowns today. Two of them barged their way into the front riders at a traffic island, one after the other. Dopes.

Why should that upset you? We've one TdF winner, one Giro winner & one World Champ's winner, and they're all Stephen Roche.

Who said anything about being upset? Just confused - I was wondering what happened to Kelly?

Now it's Phil Liggett. Am I listening to an ITV stream? Well, now my confusion is resolved!

Are saxo in the mix? Finding it hard to spot them on ITV

Edit: I see them at the front now

Sorry if I misinterpreted it but I thought the sad face with al the ?'s signified being upset. Watching it on ITV but if I Sherwin was teamed with Kelly instead of Liggett I'd be a lot happier.

He's also a pain in the saddle.

Each to his own. I think he's fine on commentary. Tobh on a vaguely related issue I'm very much on the Against Pat McQuaid side of things but am finding Paul Kimmage ever more a self-righteous, self-pitying, self-obsessed pain in the hole. Anyone he deems on his side he raises to sainthood, whilst anyone he deems against is pure villain. Might be quite unfair but that's how I'm finding him.

As a neutral third party...I believe it was a confused face ;)

Basically he said Hinaults wife is hard but it can't be a party living with Hinualt:eek:
