Lenovo ideaphone A820-A830 etc

    Thought this could use its own thread as it has morphed from the Jiayu thread.
    I was originally going to go for the Lenovo a820 but changed my mind to the a830 from merimobiles (bigger screen,front camera etc) for 25€ more.
    all up 180 approx delivered dhl!
    hope there is as much of a following for it as the a820 on xda,modaco etc.

    any info on roms etc can you please post them here?

    I got mine last week, They never rooted it like requested so ive some awful Chinese crap that wont stop trying to update,battery is great I went 40 hours and still had 16% battery left with a good bit of usage. Its very fast as expected with a quadcore, wifi was a little weak until as suggested I downloaded a wifi app which seems to have helped. I cant merge contacts from google so you better get ready to type them all in :pac: also bluetooth is ****e but who actually uses that:p

    Never use GPS so I haven't checked, the wifi is good in the floor the routers in but upstairs it can be weak but a app can be downloaded to sort that.

    Put on Samsung ROM from needrom and a lot better than lenovo stock.

    No more chinese updates.not perfect but very good.
