I have a driving test very soon, but I know I won't pass.

When I got my learners permit , I started with one instructor. It was very slow progress. Gradually I got a little bit better each time, but I eventually felt that he was just driving me around.

I only found out at the beginning of this year, that I was supposed to do the compulsory 12 EDT lessons.

Anyway, I switched instructors to a different company. I completed the 12 lessons and I made much more progress with the other instructor in six months, then I did with the other guy in over a year. (I got a bit screwed over, but you live and learn).

I finished this last May, The second instructor said I had good skills, but needed a lot more practice. Then for a while I was practicing with my parents, either on weekend or early mornings. However they've decided to go away for a few months.

So I haven't gotten as much practice as I should have. I arranged for a pretest lessons with an instructor, but I have to do the test in a few days anyway as my learner permit will expire this month.

Any advice for this type of situation?

Do a few lessons OP every 2 days if possible. Practice your slow manouvres .i.e Turnabout, Reverse in your own time. I passed first time without my own car or help from others, all I had was my instructors car so you already have an advantage over me! The test is more about keeping your nerve than anything else!
