Hi all I've been searching to no avail for a rent to buy opportunity in the north Wicklow south Dublin area and was wondering if there is any landlord's out there who would be willing to enter into an agreement with us.

We have great references and have never missed a rent payment but feel this route would suit us better towards buying. We have done a lot of thinking and research into this but just need to find somewhere.

We would need a three bed within these areas.

    Thanks

Note that rent-to-buy schemes are in disrepute and likely won't be recognised by your bank.

    There may be valuation problems.

In addition- your target area is just about the only area in the country experiencing price rises. There is very little in it for a potential seller, to enter into a scheme like this. If you want to buy in this area- it really is a case of queuing up with everyone else.
