What ever size u go for try and make it easy to get a trailer into to save yourself the trouble of hand balling it in every year .
If you are going at it yourself would a leanto built out of blocks be as hand and cheap as anything and would probably look tidier around the house than girders and sheeting

You would be digging out for uprights and blocks going up half way anyhow
Get a couple of prices on both and see what you think . There should be plenty of lads willing to price a job like that

If just for turf would a shed sheeted on say one side and gable not be better than a closed up shed with no airflow!

ideally a 2 bay shed with both bays open on the sheltered side so that you can put in this years turf/timber without blocking the dry stuff left over from last year. Particularly important for timber that should be seasoned for a year

Yea know what her saying worst thing ya can have is a sealed turf shed especially if ya had a wet year like last

im no expert, but doesnt turf when its seasoning push block walls over time?

From experience, dad put up a 30 x 30 shed sheeted with cladding while ago.
It has 2 x 3ft doors on either gable.
and on the end opposite the 2 small doors are 2 x 14ft sheeted doors make of farm gates. works a treat. he has pallets on inside of timbers holding sheets around the bottom

Im in the process of putting up a shed.....got a price from a well known maker/manufacturer for approx. 1750 a bay for what you want sheeted to 6ft and cladded , I think u can widen it to 15'6 and deepen it to 18ft with no extra cost. my advice is to put its back to the weather and after that theres plenty of open space to dry turf, you could latt one side...

Dig holes ur'self and provide mix on the day...
