I have a second car which is an S2000 and I am taking it off the road permanently. I don't use it enough but I'm going to hold onto it as I know I will use it again at some stage. I want to get another car something with a small enough engine but with some bit of power. I don't want a glanza but possibly something like a colt CZT. Any other recommendations? I would spend up to 4k.

How come you don't drive the S2000? is it not practical or just costing too much to run?

Well I only do a couple of thousand miles a year in it. I won't sell it either because I paid enough for it a few years ago and I am not going to sell it for peanuts. I want to replace the soft top, engine mounts and a few other bits so I will do it over time but I can't justify taxing and insuring it any longer.

Just buy a banger, get the s2k fixed and drive on! No point spending €4k. That buys a lot of tax and insurance

A VZR or BZR would do the job, or an MX5.
