I just bought a bottle of Dove gradual tan and plan on using it over the next few days.

    Few q's though..after a bit of googling

I know to exfoliate before, use sparingly around knees, elbows etc, don't forget the face.

BUT Just wondering, I shave my legs every day or at a stretch every second day..how does that work with gradual tan?

Ant one have tips or tricks?!

    Thanks!

I used that and Johnson's version a few years ago, I would suggest moisturising the knees and elbows a few hours in advance as the build up of tan on these areas after a week or so is disgusting otherwise!
I tried using it having shaved my legs earlier in the day and ended up with little brown dots where the follicles picked up more tan than the surrounding skin, and when I tried shaving my legs after the tan had developed I found I got 'track marks' of white from the razor.
That's why I don't use gradual tanners anymore! I suppose you just need to get into the habit of tanning today and shaving tomorrow etc, twas too much hassle for me anyway!
