impossible to tell. depends on being in the right place at the right time, or knowing someone.

try everywhere, thats all i can say, try to get talking to the manager if possible, just leaving in a CV is no good

What about a glass picker in a pub?

Pubs rarely accept under 18s now but there is one possibility. And it's that you know someone in there. If not, I wouldn't bank to much on it.

Try asking around friends and neighbours for people who need small tasks done. Moving stuff , cleating yards etc, helping out at catering events.

Tax free. You're too young to suffer the governments grubby hands in your pockets ...

As a 15 year old- you are classified as a child under the 1996, protection of young persons (Employment) Act.

    It specifies-

    Children

Employers cannot employ children aged under 16 in regular full-time jobs. Children aged 14 and 15 may however be employed as follows:

Doing light work during the school holidays – they must have at least 21 days off work during this time

As part of an approved work experience or educational programme where the work is not harmful to their health, safety or development

In film, cultural, advertising work or sport under licences issued by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation

Children aged 15 may do 8 hours a week light work in school term time. The maximum working week for children outside school term time is 35 hours or up to 40 hours if they are on approved work experience.

Your best bet is to ask around locally- it may be that some service industries may need additional help during the summer months- but they are legally obliged to recognise that you are under the age of 16, and forbidden from offering you full time employment, save, as recognised work experience, under one of the approved schemes.

This link (Citizen's Advice Bureau) spells things out in detail.

Jesus come on....Milk round, ask your local milkman if he needs some help. Paper round, ask your local paper delivery guy. Check on gumtree.ie job section, but be careful!

Basically ask anyone you see who's doing work in your area. Maybe a builder needs a yard cleaned. Do a good job then tell him your looking for work and ask him to ask around. Ask all your family and extended family if they need anyone to do anything or have any work going. Then ask them to ask around for you. Get on the computer and make up flyers advertising your services and availability. Put them in letterboxes around your area. Actually you can almost defo get some work doing leaflet delivery. Hard work but just for a few weeks is ok.. Get a letter from your parents saying that they give you permission to do casual work. At least tell everyone you talk to that you have permission.

(Most) People will be really receptive to you and your efforts and will help you if you ask.All you have to do is to go where you are needed. I always hear of milkmen needing helpers.. Yeah, spar and places like that don't need a 15 yr oldcause there's a shortage of jobs at the moment. So don't just confine your jobsearch to them..

I don't know why you are looking for work but fair play to you and all the best!
