Do i have to go right up on to merrion square and down around the green? I was away for a while and have gone to town a few evenings before 7...and just realised this evening that the QBC operates till 7pm!!!! Heading to town in about 30mins so bit of an issue!

Head up by Pierce street Dart station then up past Merrion Sq.

College green is Bus only both ways so stay clear.

Yeah, Merrion Square and Ely Place.

If you need to get to York Street (south side of RCSI), then Merrion Square and Fitzilliam Street and Harcourt Street. Or the long way around via Wood Quay, Christchurch and Kevin Street.

This way; http://goo.gl/maps/OrlcE with one difference; when you reach the cross roads at the top of Merrion Square Upper, go straight through to Ely Street, as Victor said.

FYI, as the junction is usually badly marked at the top of Merrion Square Upper, there are three lanes at the cross roads; go left, go straight through, or traffic against you. As a lot of people will be going left, going straight and as you need to go straight, keep in the "middle" lane.

Also, remember to stay on the left side of the road when on the north side of St Stephens Green, because you'll be dragged down Dawson street otherwise.
