I probably can't post this here, but I can't see any rules against it. This September I'm moving to Dublin to work in UCD, any places within walking distance have outrageous prices that I can't afford on my own, like 1200 a month. Is there anyone out there that is looking for new digs in the UCD area and would be interested in sharing with a fellow boardsie (me :P)

    Hi,

I have a double room to let in Blackrock. More info on the link below but would suit someone in late 20's/early 30's, mature student or young professional preferred. http://www.daft.ie/searchsharing.daft?id=725470

Located 2 minutes walk from Smurift, 3 minutes from Dart and central to Blackrock Village.

    Thanks

    You're fine.

Few young people could afford a place on their own. The Maples and Roebuck Castle would be popular, although they would attract a fair share of students.

Yea 1200 a month is pretty much par for the course for that part of Dublin. It must seem a lot for people from outside the city, but that's pretty much the average rate, if not more.
