I like those a lot too, and prices are dropping rapidly used too. I know someone who bought a demo recently at a huge saving. Good luck getting the 70mpg mind...

Ok but what were they thinking when they designed the rear seats? You have to get in head on or jump your feet through the trunk?

Saw a DS4 yesterday and thought it was one of these. Very unimpressed.
    Now I'm glad I was wrong:D:D

The DS3 is cool, as is this. DS4 not so much...

And may as well leave your feet in the trunk coz there sure as hell ain't any room for them in the back seat.

I've more chance of running a 3 minute mile than that has of returning 70mpg in the real world. 50+ is morerealistic.

    It looks well though.

They're allowed to run their tests on a rolling road in a tunnel with special tyres, no air resistance . It's impossible to get manufactures figures, you may get close with careful driving but will never match it. Surprised myself they haven't been called up on it.

The front seats do look push back a long way though, I anyone of average height would have to move the seat a good bit forward making more leg room in the back.

Nice car and cool interior. I have a liking for powerful diesels I have to admit.

my 2.0 legacy gets on average 34 mpg in the two months since i bought it. manufacturer claim is 32. i would usually expect about 80% of claimed mpg but 66% is a bloody joke.

I got one in last year for a driver who's 6 2. He got the seat in to his position, and got me to jump in behind as I'm about the same height as his son.

I could just about get my feet under the front seat, and my knees were against the back of the front seat - with me sat up straight. Reminded me of the back of a MINI I was in once.

The front seats are very thick - much thicker than anything I've ever been in.

I'm just waiting on the V60 plug in hybrid to become available 2nd hand. 215bhp with a 65bhp equivalent electric motor. 0-60 in 6.1 seconds with emissions of 49g giving 148.7mpg.

ya that v60 looks good but its a big bus at 2 tonne and 50k sterling new, equivalent v60 diesel is 40k. as you said would be a great purchase second hand in 4 or 5 years
