    Hi Everyone

Looking to get trail bike, already have road bike which I use alot and a hybrid which I am trying to sell to be honest because I don't use it at all. Had a mountain bike but it was cheap one so no good for rough terrain. When I was in Thailand recently done a trail ride down a mountain and found it great crack so was looking to get a bike. Good starter one.

My mate has got a Cube Acid Comp and looks nice, was wondering what everyone recommends? just looked on adverts so far but not sure which is best....budget is around 400 quid or swap for my hybrid....but can push out if better bike available...any ideas?

Try get a decent air fork, rockshox reba and the like.
Hard when starting to pick out good second hand mtb in private sales.
Try hire shops and epic and madmtb websites

It's great exercise and easiest way to turn back clock to childhood!

The brand is the frame and very little else.

All the major manufacturers cube, giant trek etc make decent entry level bike.
They will all have shimano or sram groupsets and rockshox or suntour forks.

Look for durable wheels and decent fork
