Come on we have all gotten out a ruler at one time or another, this will be like a 3d film, everyone will try it at least once.

i think you will find rulers only go to 12"...

Some were designed to have lots of their parts easily replicated by themselves, so you have people making them and sending out parts to other beginners, sort of like a chain letter thing.

Would you not need a 3d scanner aswell or how would it know the dimensions of what you wanted to print?

I wonder, the bigger the 3D printer, the bigger the 3D print.

I would keep printing bigger and bigger printers til i could print no more.

Then i'd print something really big.......really big like ridiculously BIG.

You can get the plans for a lot of stuff online. There are even websites in the US that let you download the plans for guns free of charge.

The problem though with printing guns is that the material is not strong enough yet to be reliable enough for guns.

You can make certain parts but they aren't at the stage where they can make a rifle barrel that is strong enough for most rounds.

3d printers seem so cool. Really wouldnt know what I would print. But being honest, half of me would really like to try printing that gun that made the news

Speaking of which, i reckon a few scumbag criminals are already looking towards printing guns on them :pac: Arent they meant to be untraceable?
