First gaming build ~€1000

    Planning on building my first rig in a few months time, want some input into parts etc.


    1. What is your budget? About €1000, but in no rush to buy so could save some more. Planning on building later in the year.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming: mostly FPS, CoD, AC and the like

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Nope

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yup

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. 23'+

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Keyboard (thinking the Logitech G105 but others are welcome), Mouse, Wireless card

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes but not really willing to do liquid cooling...

    8. How can you pay? Credit Card, Debt Card, Paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? Few months time, when I have all the money together

    I plan to replace the graphics card every 18 months or so, so I'm willing to splash out a bit to future proof myself somewhat. Looking at getting a SSD for OS plus game with HDD for media etc...
