    Hi,
I went unreg for this as I feel as though it's a personal issue. (Mods feel free to move if needed)

Basically for the last four or so weeks, I have noticed a large number of moths in my bedroom. I also started to feel very uncomfortable at night ad experience high levels of itchy skin. We cleared out the room and got the relevant moth repellents etc. I also hoovered the beds and every nook and cranny visible to the eye. So I think I can rule out bed bugs/moths the case of the itching, however the bed is 10+ years old. I always change sheets and am hygenic.

The main problem I'm experiencing is the itching. It's happening day and night and I am becoming anxious that people are noticing. I have few visible marks on my skin and I nfeel as though there is no way I cannot scratch. Itches can happen all over my body, and hair.
However, part of me is beginning to think that I have become obsessed with this and it is also psychological that something may be crawling on my skin etc.

I'm not sure what kind of advice I am seeking but I am at my wits end with this. Does anyone have any similar experiences?

Thank you in advance for reading.

    Hi OP

we cannot give medical advice here. Please go see your GP immediately though, they need to rule out allergies or any other issues that may be affecting you. Having cleaned out your room and removed all of the moths there is not much more you can do at this point apart from changing your bed / mattress / bedding.

The itching and moths could be coincidental. You could have any number of things causing this type of reaction but listing them would breach our charter. Maybe see if you can list out days / times you have felt like this and go talk to your doctor today.
