Losing Company Van - Need Car

Hey lads, could really do your opinion. I am changing jobs and my new job will supply a van after the 6 month mark. I need to get something cheap, that has passed NCT and runs okay. I will not be doing savage millage.

People are telling me to go for a Skoda for Passet. My budget will be around 3K, if I get less, even better, might be able to afford a family holiday.

My heart is saying to treat myself and get a car outside the norm, something like this

@ colm_mcm, I forgot about the Corolla. I hear there a good decent reliable option alright.

Had 2 of these, comfy & nice to drive. The alloys look too new for it, don't look like the type fitted to that age of car, think they where on the newer face-lifted version. Large boot as well.
