Is golfshot only for smartphones or can I be used from a regular laptop? I've been trying it but I can't see where I can put in my round.

I thought that this was both for Smartphones and Internet use, however I have just logged in on the web version and I think you're right - there doesn't seem to be any way to enter rounds in this way.

    Unfortunate....

I downloaded this last week and put in my first round ni problem - great review and stats of my round.
Now i try and put in a second round and then save it and it wont update the stats or let me put in a 3rd round. Its the free version im using so do i have to pay for the app before i can put in 2 rounds. Anyone?

No, you should be able to enter as many rounds as you want.

I use the free version as well. Main diff between Free/Paid is the GPS functionality i think.

You need to "End Round" then "Save Scorecard".... Saving the round itself doesn't actually upload it... Hope that makes sense

because devs have to pay to put things onto the app store

    (i.e. apple sucks)

I think golfshot may be gone because the developer is trying to push their new app Tour Caddie

I have the lite version, dammed if I have to pay to use Tour caddie.

I hope that those who have the lite will be able to continue to use it.

TourCaddie is the upgraded GolfShot - and it's free too.

All files and scorecards from Golfshot and TourCaddie all link to the same website so nothing gets lost.

Has anyone else been reviewing all of the details available on the website? You can now see stats by course and hole, as well as the details of all the rounds played on the course. You can see all of the Golfshot / TourCaddie users who have played the course and all of their scores etc etc. It also shows a leaderboard for the course.

Really interesting stuff as you can see how you compare to everyone else.

Where on the website do you see these stats?

You need to search for your course on shotzoom.com and not golfshot.com. You can also log in there with your standard golfshot credentials.
