So lads since my parts are arriving in the coming weeks I'll be giving my old computer to my mother..

Is it worth upgrading anything in it at all? Or should I just give it to her as is? Keep in mind I just spent €1500 on new parts myself so money is tight enough :pac:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64, 4000+ (Singe core, 2.6 Ghz), Socket 939
Graphics: Asus GeForce 610 (Bought this recently when the capacitors on my old card literally exploded.. I can post pics if ye want :pac:)
    RAM: 2GB (Assuming DDR1)
    HDD: 240GB (Assuming SATA)

PSU is < 400 watts if I remember correctly.. I have no idea what kind of Mobo it has.. I know it says Foxconn on it :p

It's served me well over the years but it is now barely functioning.. I think this is primarily a heat issue so I have thermal paste, compressed air, and fans on the way to me. Currently idling at over 50c  Hoping that will sort out a lot of the performance issues..

To think I used to play Crysis on maximum details.. :o

Id just apply new thermal paste clean out the dust and install windows fresh on to it and it would be good to go  .
