Would you wear these for a day?

Hi, apologies for the thread title but I was just looking for thoughts on this type of shoe.

    http://www.jjshouse.com/Leatherette-Heels-Sandals-Latin-Dance-Shoes-053024880-g24880

They are listed as "dance shoes" which I know means they are intended for dancing use due to the type of sole they have, but would you consider this type of shoe suitable to wear with an outfit for a day, say for a wedding?

I'm not saying this particular shoe just the type (if you know what I mean).

    Thanks.

    Yeah... you're right lol.

I'm really struggling to find something for my daughter for a wedding we're going to, she's 11 and is wanting something with a "wee heel" on and these type of shoe look comfortable as well as nice :).

    Thanks.

They look perfectly fine for a wedding. The heel is perfect for a day which can have alot of standing and dancing. They look like they should be comfortable.

Have you ever ordered from this website before? Are they well known, reputable?

Hi - no I haven't ordered from them before, so i don't know how reputable they are, I saw a link to them via Facebook lol.

If anybody can link me to any other decent (reasonably priced) sites or shops as a possible alternative, I'd be grateful :) My problem is I'm out Roscommon/Mayo way so a trip to Dublin for a pair of shoes is not possible for me

I think they are a bit old for her. I would also think that 11 year old would be better with a wedge heel (I'm guessing she doesn't wear heels often if ever).

Thanks meeeeh but as I mentioned in my 1st post "not particularly these shoes" I was referring to the type of shoe, ie a dance shoe.

Will have a look at those links though. Thanks again :)

I would still go for a wedge heel and tbh a bit lower heel. People in their twenties and thirties aren't the best to judge if certain shoes would be comfortable for 11 years old, who I presume, is not really used walking in heels. No matter how soft the sole is, the narrow heel will always be harder on her feet.

I appreciate what your saying meeeeh but I guess what I was asking (probably not well enough) was is this type of shoe (be it flat, mid or high heel) be durable enough to wear for a full day at an occasion such as a wedding?

(I actually quite like the ones I linked to for myself :D )

Durable enough? Well sure, I'd assume that type of shoe is sturdy enough to be worn for the day.

As for an 11 year old wearing them, they would be by nature, quite flexible, with little support and a very thin sole, which wouldn't be the best for a child all day.
