    Hey,

Finishing off an internship at end of July and wanted to go on a working holiday for a month. I can definitely get work in Magaluf but have heard some really bad reports on it, friends saying it was 'tacky, chavy' etc.. Does anyone have any ideas where they would go in my shoes? Can work end of july to mid september don't care about making money just to break even

Friend of mine did something similar last Summer, went and worked in an Irish Bar in Majorca. He liked it as he has bar experience, enjoys the work and the weather was a good bit warmer than at home.

Just make sure to run through the hours you'd have to work and try and enjoy it's varied. What I mean by that is try to get a few days on in a row then a few days off in a row kind of thing. That way you can enjoy wherever you are as well as making a few bob. No point working all day everyday and not getting to sightsee etc. or working only nights and never getting to experience the nightlife either.

I don't know anyone who has any experience of Magaluf so can't help there.

North pole penguins have no right be that way, being immigrants themselves.

I know a guy who made loads of money one summer just hopping from country to country doing deliveries for his employer. He said it was great craic - loads of parties and women and good times.

The three requirements were punctuality, regular bowel movements and ability to control your gag reflex. Oh and a clean driving licence I think.
