Sony T Android Phone - Alternatives?

    Hi Everyone?

I'm currently on a rolling contract with Meteor costing E20 per month for 1Gb data but having recently killed my Sony Ray smartphone I’m stuck with a so-so Huawei.

I could renew my old 18month for E25, again for 1Gb, and get myself a Sony T smartphone however as I’ve not looked at smartphones for a couple of years I’m not up to speed on what’s what.
I’m used to the Sony’s and particularly like their cameras which is a big consideration for me as I require it for work purposes as well as general use.
I have however seen that some seem to complain about the Sony SW, lag etc

I’m just curious how you folks might rate the alternatives offered by other providers in comparison to the Sony T?
As it’s a rolling contract I’m currently on I’m not necessarily stuck to Meteor (have found both their service & coverage to be pretty poor of late) so I would consider changing for a similarly costed package particularly Three.
I could also go Sim-Free or PAYG if I could get a decent handset, any recommended online retailers, Amazon sellers etc??

Thanks for any help offered, it’s very really appreciated.

I'm okay with signing a one year contract, but would never sign for any longer than that...

I'd stay away from Sony if I had my time over again. I'm on my 3rd Xperia T in about 5 months. Problems with microphone on 2 of them and stopped charging. 3rd seems Ok for now although I only have it a few weeks.

Good camera but Meteor staff have since told me that Sony are one of the worst quality and most fault returned makes they have in stock.

I've found the in-store Meteor staff to be helpful but customer service leaves a lot to be desired.Unfortunately I have a good while to go on my contract but as soon as its up it's adios to them
