Aer Lingus seat allocation.

    Trying to book seats on a flight to Orlando on Nov 30, returning Jan 23.2014
    Message saying no allocation on this flight....allocation at airport.
    Daughter on different booking for same flights can book seats.
    Any ideas.?
    Reluctant to wait until airport as wish to book exit seats

    I think you need to pay for booking seats.

    Yes I know I have to pay for the seats.
    Seating plan usually up when I enter reservation number etc but just message saying no seat allocation available on the flight

    Op you can always book seats after booking the flight on the aerlingus website. Have you tried to book non exit seats?

    No seating plan appearing to let me choose any seats at all. Recognises my booking number.
    Hopefully just a computer glich

    For the USA routes there are 2 different aircraft types used. Seat allocation and seat maps will be available closer to the time of departure usually 50-60 days prior to departure.

    Are you travilling with a baby/infant?

    If so you have to ring up and book a seat.

    Phoned Aer Lingus and booked the seats I wanted....blip in the system.
